NOTE: The Silica Air Dryer is intended for use with our ozone generators. The dryer is not made to withstand high pressure. Ideally, the air dryer will be run under a vacuum with the open end to the atmospheric pressure of 1 to 2 PSI.
Once you have invested in the A2Z Ozone generator it is important to protect it. Condensation and water will damage your generator. Our Silica Air Dryer attaches to your Ozone generator with copper fittings. The dryer removes moisture and helps protect your Ozone generator from humidity, mildew, and corrosion. The Silica Air Dryer will dry the air to make better ozone and will help stop damage to the ozone cell.
Occasionally, the Silica Air Dryer may get full of moisture, changing the color of the beads. To resolve this, place the beads in the oven at 38° C (100° F) until they return to their original color.
How it Works
Silica Air Dryer beads can be reused by baking them in the oven. When the beads turn a pink color, it means they have absorbed moisture.
